This page provides information about the members of the Gardens LTC Committee, a group of volunteers who are elected by the members at the AGM in March each year to manage the club. The 2017/18 Committee is as follows:

Committee Structure Changes 2017/18
The club rules state that the Committee must consist of 4 officers of the club: Men’s and Women’s Captains, the Hon. Secretary and the Treasurer plus between 7 and 20 other members who need not have any specific role. The current committee structure has 11 named positions. We have decided to make some changes and for 2017-18 the Committee structure will be:
- Men’s Captain
- Women’s Captain
- Honorary Secretary
- Membership Secretary
- Bar Manager/Entertainments Secretary
- Facilities Manager
- 4 ordinary* members
The Committee will meet 4-5 times a year, rather than monthly, as is now the case. All Committee members will be expected to attend meetings and to be involved in decisions about the running of the club, whether they have a specific brief or not. We’d like to be able to use the wealth of expertise and experience we have amongst the membership to good purpose. You may have specific professional skills that may be of benefit or simply be a member of long-standing who would like to be involved in strategic decision-making about the club’s future.
*All Committee members have an equal voice in the decision making of the committee and, if any decisions require a vote, each Committee member’s vote is worth as much as any other.
These changes will be effective from the club AGM to be held on Friday 17 March 2017.
