Refurbishment – Week 1

It is intended to keep this site updated on a regular basis so members can be kept informed of the progress of the works.

As you can see the work is progressing well. Court 4 has had about 6 inches of topsoil removed and courts 2 and 3 have had the shale removed. This has lowered them by 2 to 3 inches.

An access route has been created to courts 5 and 6 but this will only be available once the contractors have left site, usually about 3 o’clock. Once the resurfacing work commences this route will no longer be available so watch this space.

Entrance to the courts is gained via the new entrance at the rear of the club and the out onto the balcony through the fire door in the hall. This route will only generally be available during club sessions as someone needs to be in attendance for health and safety reasons.Labels: Work completed in week 1
