Join us on Saturday 27th June for an exciting new event, where entrants will pick pros competing in this year’s Wimbledon to represent in a fun afternoon of competitive tennis.
- Saturday 27th June
- 2-6pm
- Entry fee: £1 (entry fees will be used as a prize)
- League phase where each player is guaranteed to play 3 mini sets against 3 different opponents
- Top players advance to semi finals and finals stage to determine winner
- Bring along some snacks to share and the bar will be open as usual for drinks
Gardens Club Tournaments
The club hosts two annual tournaments. The summer tournament is held between May and August, and the winter tournament during the autumn and winter months. All members are encouraged to participate.
Entries are invited via email in Sept/October and March/April. If you don’t have a partner, please enter anyway. Organisers are happy to pair you with a doubles partner if you don’t have a partner.

- Tournament matches have the exception of being allowed to book for 2 consecutive hours.
- We can book your match in advance if you play a match on Saturday afternoons from 4pm. Contact Zane or Stef to do so.
Doubles Pairings:
- We are not always able to accommodate every request to find you a doubles partner if you signed up alone.
- If you've been paired up with a member you haven't yet had the pleasure of meeting, then you can find their details in the Membership Directory.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT
- Enter as many events as you'd like
- Singles draws will be a round robin followed by knock-out finals
- Doubles draws will be knock-out
- Round robin matches and matches leading up to QF rounds will be best of three sets, with a 10-point tie break at one set all
- QF matches onwards will be best of three full sets
- All sets will have a 7-point tie break at 6-6
