Court Etiquette
Please be aware of general COURT ETIQUETTE and read the CLUB RULES in brief below
- Wait for a natural break in the game before walking past the back of courts or fetching balls.
- Do not start to walk down the steps onto Court 1 until the play has paused
- Move as quickly as possible in order to minimise disruptions to players, travelling as a group rather than singularly
- During club social tennis sessions members should be prepared to mix in to play men’s, ladies’ and mixed doubles with whoever is present. At the end of one set players come off court to mix up with those waiting to play
- Club socials take priority on all 4 top courts
- Play should stop when the floodlights go off at 9pm. In the summer months please wrap up games at 9pm unless you are finishing an important match . Please be quiet at night for the sake of our neighbours
- No play before 8 am.
- Do not take glass on to the courts or anything else that might damage the surface or be dangerous
- Any accidents or breakages should be reported to the committee
- The club is bound by LTA Safeguarding Standards
