Wine Tasting
Friday 14th November
7 - 8.30pm
£25 per person
Join in for some educational fun with The Gardens member Johnnie Parkhurst, long-time wine lover, who holds the Diploma in Wine Studies from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET). He has run Johnnie’s Wine School for over a decade, putting on events across London and delivering wine education to interested oenophiles and restaurant staff.
For this inaugural The Gardens tasting, we’re going to focus the collective mind and concentrate on just two grape varieties. We’ll be looking at Chenin Blanc & Syrah, and within our whirl wind tour, we’ll discuss the effects of climate on a varietal, and then look how grapes can be harnessed into vastly different expressions - from sparkling, to light & fresh, through to oak-aged fuller styles, with a little foray into sweetness just for good measure.
Come and sign up, you know you want to!
